My Story
A little bit about me
I have always had a passion for the performing arts. In middle school I joined and much to my surprise I was not Mariah Carey. It was quickly after that I decided I would be better off playing an instrument and picked up the alto saxophone. When high school rolled around I had already felt like a path had been chosen for me and I went with it. I stayed within the performing arts bubble by joining choir, jazz band, color guard, and musicals. I excelled most at colorguard where I was in a leadership position, sent to an additional leadership camp where I would later become a counselor for. Senior year ends and I decide to audition for the Blue Stars drum and bugle a DCI participating drum corps. Woo-hoo! I made it. I don't want it to be lost that I also learned I would be accepted into Columbia College Chicago on my way to move in for spring training. This would be the next 4 years of my life. Living as a performer for 4 months and studying how to make a career out of that for the other 8. Throughout this website you will find links that bring you to websites of the places mentioned and I hope you have the time to visit and learn about them.

Work History
Wait Staff/Hospitality
Various Restaurants 2013-2025
I have held every position from bussing tables to bartending in the service industry. From my start at Olive Garden in 2013 where I went through an extensive two-week training program which taught me valuable skills that I use even today to create a positive experience for guests. After leaving Olive Garden to focus on more degree related paths, I would periodically return to the hospitality field, each time gaining more confidence and new skills. I believe the chaos I endured from working in the service industry has prepared me to handle almost any situation calmly
Public Relations Intern
Windy City Play House
My internship at the Windy City Playhouse granted me hands-on experience with managing members subscriptions, creating advertising content and collaborating with local businesses to gain advertising space Sadly, the Windy City Playhouse closed its doors.;
Color Guard instructor
Lake Park High School
Coaching a group of high school students gave me a certain skill set. I know now how to sensitively correct people when they've made mistakes, give clear instructions at a pace everyone can keep up with, and how to adapt and make changes when plan A isn't working.
Volunteer Work
Paws Chicago
Volunteering has been a way for me to stay active in the world of event management. Being a helping hand while seeing new strategies in community engagement has kept the wheels turning on how to improve my own projects and work.
